  • That is very true, people are hardheaded when it comes to warnings of natural disaster. Some people here tried to stick it out as well and it didn't turn out so good for them. I'm glad people got out because we are really not out of the clear yet.

  • I know some 18-25 year old college student that are pretty poor. A girl at my school just died of meningitis. She came from a good family and probably had health insurance, but just think of all my other 18-25 year old friends that don't have health coverage.

  • My grandma actually told me about this from the local news a while ago, I was just as ashamed then. Its just sick to think he was actually going to go through with it if it had been a real situation. He probably would have gotten away with it too.

  • I think another reason Martin uses his humor to get his point across is because of the audience he is aiming to reach. These days parents are younger, and more likely to watch the daily show on Comedy Central rather than the 7 O'clock news.
